Purpose (Why we do it):
Hybrid & conventional properties can use the Entrata waitlist tool as a way to track leases for units that might not be available yet on the property website. With careful tracking, this function is sure to help with preleasing, up-coming move-ins, & eSigning.
Policy (What you're supposed to do):
The waitlist function is found in Leads > All Leads > Tools (on the left). Prospects will apply online & be added to the waitlist at a specific time based on property settings. Once the prospect is added to the waitlist, a contract can be generated that does not have a specific unit, but rather a floorplan & rent range. This will ensure the future resident can sign a lease, even though the unit may not yet be available.
When a unit becomes available, at that time the lease can be replaced with a normal contract listing unit & exact rental price. For specifics, please refer to part 1 & 2 videos below!
