Vanity Numbers

Modified on Wed, 16 Apr at 5:16 PM

Purpose (why we do this):

At HRA, we strive to be fiscally responsible, especially in our marketing efforts. We use vanity numbers (also known as tracking numbers) to determine lead sources and measure lead source success. If a lead source isn't producing enough results, we can reassess if it's worth renewing our contract with that source or if we aren't utilizing the source correctly.

Policy (what you're supposed to do):

Each lead source is given a specific vanity number so we can track and analyze the lead source. If you are marketing with a new lead source, i.e. new student magazine on campus, and need a new vanity number please reach out to marketing@horizonra.com. If a vanity number is no longer working please reach out to marketing@horizonra.com.

Lead sources should be tested every quarter to verify the accuracy of the vanity numbers.

Procedure (HRA way!):

In Entrata, click:

  1. Reports
  2. Leasing
  3. Misc
  4. Lead Source Details
  5. Select Property
  6. Generate Report

Once the report is generated, you can download it as PDF or Excel document.
