Entrata Text Keyword Set Up

Purpose (Why we do this): 

 

To deliver superior Customer Service by providing a 1-step process for residents and prospects to text a keyword to opt into receiving text message communication with important information regarding our community. 

 

Policy (What you’re supposed to do): 

 

To find your opt in number and keywords in Entrata, follow the path below.

Setup>Properties>Select your property>Communication>General>Text Messaging>Text Keywords

 

There will be two keywords set up through Entrata, one will be for residents and one will be for prospects. Once opted in, residents will receive notifications on community announcements, maintenance announcements, rent reminders, and package notifications. Prospects will receive notifications on all lead communication. Any numbers that are not already in Entrata will receive an automated message notifying them that their phone number is not associated with a guest card/resident at your community and will instruct them to contact the leasing office.

 

Procedure (HRA Way!): 

 

Create POP through the Horizon template in Canva to advertise your number and keywords to your residents and prospects. Posting this POP throughout your community will ensure that your intended audience is given easy access to opting into receiving text communication.
