All contracts for products or services on-site are required to be entered into the Source Contract tool.
Follow the steps below to add contracts for your property.
1. Go to Leasing > Inputs > Contracts.
2. Contracts > + New Contract to add a contract.
3. Add Vendor Contract Information & Save.
- Vendor Name – enter vendor name as it appears on the contract.
- Contract Value – enter the full value of the contract.
- Example: landscape contract is $1,000/mo for 12 months the total contract value is $12,000.
- Plan to Cancel – change this toggle if you do not plan to cancel the contract.
- Contract will not auto renew – change this toggle if the contract will not auto renew.
- Contract Category – select the category from the drop-down menu.
- Contract Type – select the contract type. Most contracts will be service contracts. If you are not sure what Contract Type to select, please ask your regional.
- Termination Terms – enter the termination terms outlined in the contact.
- Comments – enter the appropriate information. See example for reference.
- Start Date – select contract start date.
- Action Date – select the date you must take action to renew or cancel.
- Expiration Date – select the contract expiration date.
- Attach the contract.
All contract categories have been added for all properties. If you need a contract type added to the drop-down list, please contact your regional or training@horizonra.com for assistance.
Regionals & Source Users with Admin Access – follow these steps to assign a contract category to a property.
1. To assign contract categories go to Administration > Contracts.
2. Assign Categories to Properties > Edit (pencil).
3. Select the category that needs to be added to the list & click save. Please note, the select/deselect all buttons can be used to ensure all contract categories are added.
