Have residents follow these steps to set up ac ACH Refund Account online via their portal. There is also an attached PDF with these same steps for you to easily share.

1. Log into your resident portal. On the portal homepage, click the Payments tab on the left > Refund Account tab > Add Refund Account:

2. Click Add New Account:

3. Click Add ACH Account:

4. It will show a notice for Plaid (a program Entrata uses to verify bank accounts). Click Continue to accept:

5. Click Continue:

6. You have 2 options to link your bank account:

  1. Instant- You’ll log into your bank account online & it then connects to your Entrata resident portal
  2. Manual- you’ll manually input your account information and it takes the system 2-3 days to verify the information

INSTANT

If desired, select Instant and click continue. Find your bank & log into your online account. It will then redirect you to the property website to ensure your account is connected properly:

MANUAL

1. If you’d rather, select Manual and click continue. You’ll input your routing number & account number, confirming the account number twice.

2. Select if it’s a personal or business account, your name, and the account type:

3. You’ll then be asked to authorize a small deposit into your account:

4. Once the deposit is in your account, you’ll go back into your resident portal (payments tab on the left > refund account tab) to confirm the amount. Then your account is fully connected.

Once an account is connected, online refunds generally take 7-10 business days to deposit into your account (following the manual processing of your move-out in our system). It’s free to connect your account & is more secure than receiving a check in the mail!
