Repayment Agreements

  • All repayment agreements must be approved by the regional manager.
  • Repayment agreements should be primarily used for non-rent charges, specifically in instances of transfers with damages.
    • Rent from a previous post month should never be included in a repayment agreement.
    • Rent from a current period may only be included IF
      • It complies with relevant state and local laws
      • It gets written approval from the regional manager
  • Description of Charges should include key details of who, what, when, & where.
    • Ex – Resident moved out of prior apartment (A-101) on 10/29/2022. After move-out, damage and cleaning charges were assessed at $1000 and includes carpet cleaning ($300), master bedroom full repaint ($600), 4 drip pans ($20), and hall bathroom door replacement ($80).
  • Any active repayment agreements must be listed and included in all delinquency summaries for operations.
