Purpose (Why we do this):
NetVendor was built exclusively for real estate management, NetVendor takes care of everything related to vendor compliance. There is a cost associated to the Vendor once they apply.
NetVendor is linked to Entrata and helps reduce vendor-related risk and saves time for tracking vendor compliance. Below are a few items that they help maintain to allow our vendors to be paid:
- W-9 Verification
- TIN matching with the IRS
- Background Checks
- Insurance Management
- Hold Harmless Agreements
- General Conditions Agreements
- Safety and Accident Provisions Agreement
Policy (What you're supposed to do):
All vendors must apply to NetVendor through the Horizon Realty Advisors link in order to be setup for payment.
Please ensure that a new Vendor is compliant in NetVendor prior to beginning work onsite.
Additionally you can use the NetVendor Public Search feature in NetVendor to find a Vendor who is compliant and can be invited to Horizon's NetVendor account to begin work onsite.
Procedure (HRA Way!):
Follow the instructions on this article to invite a Vendor to NetVendor: How to invite a Vendor to NetVendor
