Purpose (Why we do this):
To stay within Entrata’s legal guidelines and maintain Superior Customer Service when sending message center email communications to leads and residents.
Policy (What you're supposed to do):
Adhere to Entrata’s legal guidelines by not sending marketing messages to leads and residents that have unsubscribed from marketing communication.
Procedure (HRA Way!):
When sending message center emails, ensure that the “Marketing Message” toggle is set to OFF when sending urgent matters.
Below are examples in which we are legally obligated to turn off the “Marketing Message” toggle:
- Notice to Enter
- Balance/Rent due
- Water Shut Off
- Notice to Vacate
- New roommate notification
- Lease Violations
- Fines and Warnings
For message center emails that include marketing or promotional content, ensure that the “Marketing Message” toggle is set to ON.
Below are examples of emails that include marketing or promotional content:
- Renewal Messaging
- Newsletters
- Contests
- Amenity Updates
- Special Communication
