OneDrive –
Your OneDrive is private and not shared with anyone else. We suggest using OneDrive for your personal files and only using the share feature when sharing files with external users such as a vendor or an employee from another property. When sharing among your team, please use the Files tab under your property Teams channel.
To access your OneDrive, open office.com on your browser and sign in with your work email.
Click the word Apps in the top left and select OneDrive.
Once OneDrive opens, click the details button at the top right corner and be sure the Offline mode is turned on. . Once this completes your local files will be saved to OneDrive to avoid losing any files if your computer crashes.
Teams –
Your property Teams file library is configured to allow all your fellow property employees to access the files saved here. Please use this library to share files with your team rather than emailing or sending links.
To access your property Teams file library, select Teams from the Apps section from above.
After you click the Teams tile, select your property teams channel and click the Files tab at the top.
You will then see an "Add shortcut to OneDrive" button. Click that to start syncing.
You can now return to OneDrive from the Apps section, and you will see your property docs is a folder with a chain link icon like the picture below.
If you haven’t already, you will need to follow the steps above to sync your OneDrive to your computer for this folder to be added to your quick access.
If you have already synced your OneDrive to your computer, it will take a few minutes for the folder to show up under the OneDrive section of your file explorer (folder icon on your taskbar).
Restarting your computer may make this show up quicker.
Once you do see the property docs folder in the OneDrive list, you can right click it and select pin to quick access for even easier access.
