Purpose (Why we do this):
Employee lease addendums are to be signed by all Horizon employees for record-keeping of discounts and employee acknowledgment of provisions of being a resident and employee.
Policy (What you're supposed to do):
Full-time Horizon employees are offered a 20% rent discount when they work and live at the same site. Horizon employees that live at on-site are required to sign an employee lease addendum.
To generate the addendum, start by going to the employees ledger in Entrata.
- Click to the documents tab
- Add document
- Type of document: Electronic Signature Document; e-sign document: HRA Employee Resident Addendum with Discounts and Deductions
Please see attached document if you would like more information on the details requested by the form.
Once you add the information requested by the system, it will generate a form within the employee's resident account. This will need to be signed by the employee, and then counter signed by a manager or regional when applicable.
Please note: this cannot be completed by the employee. It must be completed by either the Property Manager or Regional Manager when applicable.
Procedure (HRA Way!):
The Property Manager is responsible for making sure the employee lease addendum is signed by all employees that live on site. Please email the completed/signed/countersigned addendum to hr@horizonra.com.
