Gift Card Policy

Modified on Fri, 4 Apr at 2:28 PM

Purpose (Why we do this):

The gift card policy is in place to protect Horizon properties and Horizon customers.

Policy (What you are supposed to do):

Gift Cards are required to be electronic unless they are valued at $25 or less for on-site promotions

Procedure (HRA Way!):

All Residents and/or Prospects that receive an E-Gift Card must sign a Gift Card Receipt available in Entrata.  In addition, the gift card must be logged on the lease tracker and/or activity log for a conventional property.

The receipt will be held in the Documents log in Entrata for your reference.

If cards are given as “Above & Beyond” or as Move-In “Make it Right” and are $25 or under, the resident does not need to sign off on the receipt.

The Property Manager is responsible for ensuring that all E-Gift Cards are accounted for and properly documented.
