Teammate Referral Program

Purpose (Why we do this):


Horizon offers a program to incentivize our teammates to recruit other like-minded individuals that they believe will thrive at Horizon and be a good culture fit.

 

Policy (What you’re supposed to do):


If a current teammate refers a new teammate, they receive the following:

   $100 for a Leasing Agent or Porter

   $200 for a Leasing Manager or Maintenance Tech

   $300 for an Assistant/Accounting Manager or Maintenance Supervisor

   $500 for a Property Manager

   $200-1,000 for a Corporate position based on the salary of the new hire

The bonus will not be granted until the new teammate has successfully completed 90 days of service.

 

Procedure (HRA Way!):


Generally, these are coded to admin or maintenance bonuses or employee above and beyond. Property Managers should enter the referral bonuses in time and labor after verifying the referred employee has successfully completed 90 days of service.
